Heating oil is stored in the inner tank and the outer tank acts as a fail safe so that in the event of a spillage, excess fuel will collect in the outer tank. The bunded design helps avert pollution incidents should there be a leak and avoid the hassle of costly environmental clean-up operations. Bunded oil tanks have been proven to significantly reduce the risk of pollution. They are a requirement for most domestic and commercial premises in the United Kingdom and Ireland. With its increased 1200-litre capacity, it is tailored for settings that demand a substantial amount of heating oil, such as larger residential properties or small to medium-sized commercial establishments.
With a reduced base size the 1200 litre Low Profile Bunded Oil Tank is best suited for exposed locations. Manufactured in the UK from Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), it is lightweight, durable, non-corrosive, simple to install and aesthetically pleasing. Moulded in handles allow for the tank to be transported quite easily.
