Usage:

Copper Pipe: Made from a single piece of copper and usually has a thicker wall.
Copper Tube: Made from multiple pieces of copper that are welded together and generally has a thinner wall.

8mm Copper Tube, also known as microbore copper pipe, is used for several purposes:

Central Heating Systems: It’s commonly used to carry water to radiators in central heating systems
Unobtrusive Surface Fitting: Due to its small size, it’s ideal for surface fitting where larger pipes would be more visible
False Ceilings and Dry Wall Liners: It can be installed through false ceilings and behind dry wall liners2.
